Illustrative image, not a specific model; equipment and installation arrangements depend on the project.

What is it used for?

The unit stores dry chemical and releases it through its discharge assembly when the model's activation mechanism operates. Ceiling or wall mounting and coverage depend on the exact product listing.

  • Small defined spaces or hazards within the selected model's approved application

What does it offer?

  • Automatic response without someone operating a handheld unit

Types and key differences

Confirm the actual model
Activation temperature, agent rating and coverage are product-specific; they cannot be inferred from cylinder weight alone.

What needs checking before selection?

  • Not a blanket replacement for sprinklers, detection or portable extinguishers. Powder residue, obstruction and mounting limits must be assessed.

Components and scope

  • Specified powder unit and automatic release assembly
  • Approved mounting and coverage assessment
  • Inspection access and service instructions

From survey to handover

  1. Survey the building and identify the hazard.
  2. Select compatible equipment and prepare the project design for the required review.
  3. Install, test and document the work; hand over operating information and a maintenance plan.

In Saudi Arabia, the design is reviewed against applicable Saudi Building Code requirements, including SBC 801, and the competent authority’s requirements. Capacity, quantities, coverage and testing follow the project design and manufacturer instructions. Safety licensing remains subject to the authority’s process through Salamah.
