What is it used for?

Existing systems are surveyed as a whole, priority gaps are documented, compatible upgrades are designed, and the completed installation is recommissioned.

  • Changed building layouts, obsolete panels and installations with repeated faults

What does it offer?

  • Corrects priority deficiencies while retaining serviceable infrastructure
  • Improves maintainability and system documentation

What needs checking before selection?

  • Partial replacement without a system-wide review can introduce incompatibility or leave hidden gaps

Components and scope

  • Condition survey
  • Panel replacement
  • Device upgrades
  • Recommissioning
  • Documentation for review

From survey to handover

  1. Survey the building and identify the hazard.
  2. Select compatible equipment and prepare the project design for the required review.
  3. Install, test and document the work; hand over operating information and a maintenance plan.

In Saudi Arabia, the design is reviewed against applicable Saudi Building Code requirements, including SBC 801, and the competent authority’s requirements. Capacity, quantities, coverage and testing follow the project design and manufacturer instructions. Safety licensing remains subject to the authority’s process through Salamah.
